I recently got a glimpse of the price our Military men and Women pay for our Freedom when I joined almost 1000 mourners in attending the funeral for Marine Lance Cpl. Nathan Elrod.

Nathan gave his life fighting for our Country on October 21st, 2006, in the Anbar province of Iraq. I didn't know Nathan very well, but I had the privilege of photographing him with his family before he went to Iraq. It was the last photograph they would ever have together.

Nathan is one of over 3000 Americans who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we all take for granted. I pray you will take every opportunity to say thanks to our military personnel.
